Islamic University is not only admitting Muslim students but from both religious backgrounds.
He said that among the 30 students to be sent to the Islamic University, ten are Muslims while twenty are Christians. About thirty students from Kaduna State are to benefit from the state scholarships scheme and undertake studies in Islamic University of Uganda. The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Honourable Aminu Abdullahi Shagali disclosed this during a Press briefing after a courtesy call by the Ugandan High Commission to Nigeria Mr Ocheger Nelson in his office in kaduna. He said the High Commissioner has assured the people of the state that security of students in Uganda is highly guaranteed.
